The Independent Schools Association (ISA) Art Competition is a prestigious annual event that celebrates artistic talent across a wide range of media and age groups. Open to students from schools affiliated with the ISA, such as Maida Vale School.

The competition features diverse categories such as 2D and 3D artwork, textiles, photography, fashion, and more. Its goal is to showcase student creativity and foster artistic growth, while also encouraging schools to share innovative practices in art education.

The competition operates at regional and national levels. Regional winners advance to the national finals, which are typically aligned with major ISA conferences. For example, the 2024 finals will take place during the ISA Autumn Study Conference in November. Categories cover different age ranges, making it an inclusive opportunity for students of various skill levels and artistic styles.
