Maida Vale School’s Sixth Form we aspire to bring together a team of motivated, mature and intellectually curious Sixth Formers. Students who will thrive in a warm and welcoming environment and will make the most of our state-of-the-art facilities and our teachers who are specialists in their subject.
Our Sixth Form Open Morning, held at the beginning of the autumn term, is a valuable place to start when considering a place in our Sixth Form. Our Head of Sixth Form, Dena Deedat, outlines the key steps for admission, the academic choices, enrichment opportunities and our UCAS and post A Level pathway. You will also meet our Sixth Form subject specialist teachers with whom you can discuss academic choices, course content and outline in more detail.
Private Tours are also available throughout the year and are a good way to see the school in action, meet our current Sixth Form students and talk with our Head of Sixth Form to ask specific questions.

Your son/daughter will be sent an application form which will tell us more about them and their personal interests. This will be used further down the line at interview. Those who wish to be considered for a scholarship should register their interest by Monday 9th November 2026. More information on scholarships can be found here: Scholarships
All students who apply will be invited to an interview day. The aim of the day is to get to know your son/daughter better and find out whether they are the right fit for the school and vice versa. More details will be shared in the invitation to interview.
Feedback from the interview is considered alongside the application form and school reference. If an offer is made, it is conditional on GCSE results or equivalent. Offers vary depending on proposed subject choices and feedback from the Interview Day.
