At Maida Vale School, we are committed to providing a rich, robust and enjoyable co-curricular programme that allows students to explore passions and interests beyond the academic curriculum. Our clubs and activities are designed to spark curiosity, develop new skills and give every pupil the chance to discover talents that may not surface within classroom subjects.
Each term, we offer three extensive programmes, featuring over 70 different clubs for students to choose from. These activities take place before school, during lunchtime and after school, ensuring that every pupil can find opportunities that suit their schedule and interests.
Our clubs are led by a blend of enthusiastic MVS staff and specialist external practitioners, creating a diverse and exciting enrichment landscape. The range is deliberately broad, spanning everything from Jigsaw Club and Jewellery Making to Powerleague Football, Parkour, Warhammer Club, Minecraft League, Film Skool and Model United Nations.

For those with athletic ambitions, our sports provision is equally vibrant. We run competitive Football, Netball, Hockey, Rugby, Tennis, Cricket and Athletics teams, all of which participate in weekly fixtures. These teams give students the opportunity to develop teamwork, resilience and sportsmanship in a supportive environment.
Performing arts also form a cornerstone of school life. Each year, we produce three school plays, with our much-anticipated Summer Musical standing out as the highlight of the dramatic calendar—an event that brings together the talents of actors, musicians, dancers and backstage crews across the school.
Our co-curricular provision extends far beyond the school campus. Throughout the year, Maida Vale School offers a wide variety of trips, designed to broaden horizons, deepen subject knowledge and create unforgettable memories. From our annual Ski Trip and transformative Zanzibar expedition, to inspiring local visits such as art exhibitions, theatre experiences and geography fieldwork, our programme enriches learning and fosters a strong sense of adventure.

We also make full use of our prime London location, giving students regular access to world-class museums, galleries, theatres, historic sites and cultural institutions that enhance their learning in exciting, real-world contexts.
